Examination Access Arrangements Test Costs
An Access Arrangements Test includes the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) approved tests to provide evidence for reasonable adjustments during examinations (GCSE, AS and A Level). If the tests indicate needs, adjustments could include:
- extra time.
- a reader.
- oral language modifier.
- a scribe.
- using a computer instead of handwriting.
- using assistive software (screen reader/voice recognition).
- exam papers to be on a coloured paper in dyslexia friendly font.
- hard copy instead of on-screen.
- supervised rest breaks.
- separate room.
Please note this test does not give a formal identification of a specific learning difference, such as dyslexia.
